Based on these findings the Commission unanimously agreed that Judge Loewer meets performance standards and is an asset to the District Court.

The Commission conducted a personal interview with Judge Loewer, reviewed orders he authored, observed him in court, and reviewed judicial performance survey responses from attorneys, non-attorneys, and appellate judges who had interaction in Judge Loewer’s court. The Commission also received information from the District Attorney and the Office of the Public Defender regarding their offices’ opinions and experiences with Judge Loewer.
